Additional Measures Implemented to Stem Spread

Singapore Prepares for Varied Public Health Responses

Amidst a recent surge in COVID-19 infections, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has been closely monitoring the situation and implementing additional measures to curb the spread of the virus. These measures are part of Singapore's strategy to prepare for different levels of public health threats.

One of the key responses is加强卫生措施, including enhanced contact tracing and adherence to safe management practices. Meanwhile, the MOH has also stepped up its vaccination efforts to protect the population from severe illness and hospitalization.

Additionally, Singapore has a General Advisory on COVID-19 that addresses frequently asked questions, such as when to wear a mask. From March 2024, the MOH will implement new mask-wearing guidelines, requiring individuals to wear masks in certain public settings.
